About Ahuriri
Ahuriri is a charming waterfront village in Napier’s vibrant entertainment quarter. A short 5 minute drive from the Napier CBD and 10 minutes from the airport. The area is steeped in history, being one of the earliest settled areas of Napier.
Today, Ahuriri offers everything from a swimming beach and an extensive seaside boardwalk to many waterfront cafes and bars, art galleries and boutique stores.
It is a wonderful setting for relaxing or socialising. It’s also the perfect playground for active people, with regular fishing, sailing and diving trips all setting out from Ahuriri. The newly improved Rotary walkway stretches from Bay View right down to Clive - a fanastic bike trip, run or walk. Please click here for the local walking and cycling track.
